I recall year 2014 when I finished The Fault in Our Stars by John Green, a few words stuck in my head.
“…I’m in love with you, and I’m not in the business of denying myself the simple pleasure of saying true things. I’m in love with you, and I know that love is just a shout into the void, and that oblivion is inevitable, and that we’re all doomed and that there will come a day when all our labor has been returned to dust, and I know the sun will swallow the only earth we’ll ever have, and I am in love with you…”
Okay maybe a paragraph.
It took a while to match up another book with it.
I even asked around but ooh well it was all in vain.
All in vain until when God lit a candle into my dark lost tunnel and I discovered The Divergent Series .
Yes the angels got me covered alright.
Then this year created its own rhythm and I was whisked away to my first encounter with Jennifer Niven.
Neither had I planned or was I looking for her books.
And from the last time I read the Fault in our Stars you can tell I gave up on the hunt.
All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven is a beautiful foretelling of Love, Selflessness and Hope.
Just like Hazel and Gus, Violet and Theodore are two souls that bumped into each other’s lives unknowingly.
They ended up being each other’s compasses and miracles in life; a creation of love that surpasses all understanding.
How Theodore Finch submitted his life selflessly with love to bring hope to Ultraviolet Remarkey-able’s miserable life is what hit the spot for me.
The power of giving leaves an enormous impact in the people around us.
Just seeing that smile, appreciation or hope in deserted eyes when you share your life with them is what makes this world a better place.
The difference in self giving is the addition to hope to another.
“Love only grows by sharing. You can only have more for yourself by giving it away to others,” Brian Tracy.
“You make me feel gold, flowing too. I love you. Ultraviolet Remarkey-able.”
“You make me lovely, and it’s so lovely to be lovely to the one I love….”
Happy Reading 💚
